I had to reload Windows on my computer, due to Windows having issues. Being that it was a 5 year old install, it was time anyway. During this time, I saved all of my stuff, but apparently this was not entirely so. As I eventually got around to reloading Daz Studio (the latest version which is 4.7 right now), I have run into a problem, that has pretty much ended my enthusiasm all together. All of the custom morphs I had created are gone. Apparently there was some damn folder that Daz dumped them in, that I didn't know about. So basically I am screwed. All those years of work are gone. To even attempt to rebuild everything is a nightmare, because the plugin I used was only compatible in the old 4.5 version. I did some searching and the author of the morph plugin has a version for 4.6, but that does me no good since we are now on 4.7. Furthermore, even if I did have a new morph plugin for Daz 4.7, I will would still have to recreate everything. And quite frankly, I don't have the energy or time to bother with it anymore. It is just not worth it to me. As a result of all this mess, my scene files that contain all the characters that you see in the gallery, do not load properly anymore or at all. At any rate, aside from this, I have started purging a lot images from the gallery here. I have removed hundreds of images now. Much of it stuff I don't want on here anymore, or is really old, and to me, irrelevant. At this point, I think I might be done with Daz Studio. I can't stand the new version. Nothing is the same, and even though I made an effort this time to rebuild the content library so everything is more organized, it just doesn't jazz me up anymore. I have been debating pulling this whole gallery and closing it for good for awhile now. However, I leave for months and comeback, and people are still faving, watching or leaving comments on the remaining work I have left. I really appreciate it. At this point, I don't know what I will do. I may dive back in, but it will be a whole new slate. I am starting from scratch for the most part, so you are very unlikely to see any like I have posted for years. To be or not to be? That is the question.
Thank you for your support, I look forward to hearing from you.
